Ace's spin-off of their Golden Age Of American Rock 'n' Roll series - Chartbusters USA - is always a popular and strong selling line. As with Golden Age, Chartbusters has its own sub-series of Special Editions. This month Ace add to that sub-series with a long overdue Special Country Edition, featuring Country chart hits that also crossed over to the Hot 100 between 1963 and 1970. Many of the genre's greatest names are featured here, along with some of country's most successful songs of all time. Every one of these tracks made the Country Top 5, and 14 of them reached # 1. Amazingly, despite the popularity of the singers and the songs, around half of these tracks have never been issued on UK CD before. Top quality mastering and a lavishly illustrated and generously annotated booklet will make this a must for the committed collector and casual country fan alike.
