The above has been rescheduled for October 30th. The British pre-order price is currently best (it's about $25 less than the American price):

These sides feature Blakey's lesser known combos, prior to his classic Blue Note period with Lee Morgan and Wayne Shorter. Some truly fantastic albums here featuring Johnny Griffin, Jackie McLean, Bill Hardman, and one of the greatest names ever - Spanky DeBrest - on bass.

I love these sets. Just got in this Blakey set along with the Monk complete live Columbia set, as well as the recent Billy Cobham Atlantic set. Sound great, look great. Love to see this sorta box configuration on Al DiMeola's Columbia sides, BS&T on Columbia, Don Ellis on Columbia, Jeff Beck on Epic.
