Potentially good news, while Andreas Meyers is still the mastering engineer, i have been told by Mosaic that, (we) "were a lot more critical of the
overall sound (in so far as shrillness was concerned)."
I.e., hopefully this one will sound better than the last few!

Fantastic Hines set!! Really looking forward to the Chick/Ella set later this year. Excited to see what else they pull out of the hat. Hope they get the Select sets going again.

Thanks for the comment. If I ever get some $'s, it's on my list.
Speaking of Mosaic, there is something wrong with their jewel cases, a couple days ago, I pulled out one of the Bix Biederbecke cd's & it was cracked. 3rd time this has happened to me with a Mosaic. The other 2 times they replaced them. I bought this set used on ebay so am hesitant to ask. This wasn't the first time I've played the disc, so it did not arrive in that condition from the ebay seller.
