It consists mainly of piano improvisations. The remaining pieces while having some overdubs are all constructed upon piano improvisations. The use of percussion is purposely absent (with a few minor exceptions) in order to highlight the silence in between the notes so the tone of the piano itself creates a certain desired effect.
