Now that I've seen a track listing, I do have one question/possible concern: how much of the Basie material is vocal? I don't tend to like Basie's vocalists, & I believe 2 full cd's are devoted to him.

Here's the track listing, I couldn't find a link from the main page.

Four CDs of this set have already been released on iTunes. I have the Basie volume from iTunes and some of the tunes feature Helen Humes and Jimmy Rushing. There will be an additional Basie CD as well.

Thanks. I may pass for $100 if there is a lot of Humes & Rushing. 2 ?'s on the dl:

1. is it lossy only?
2. Are their any non i-tunes options?

The Savory collection release are iTunes exclusively and I believe lossy only. PDF booklets for each are great too.

I ordered this and the Savoy Be Bop box when Mosaic was taking final orders for the latter earlier this year, and both finally arrived early last month. I haven't had a chance to listen to either set yet, but I'm looking forward to doing so once the my teaching duties are over in a couple of weeks and summer break begins.

In the back of my mind I always thought this would make a great set. Apparently, it's in the works!:
