WOW!
Might as well cancel all previous Christmas wants and go straight with this. So encompassing.

I remember buying the LP of Heavy Weather when it was still a new release at Jimmy's Music World on 5th Ave. above 34th St. on sale for $2.99.

Looks like the size of the Pink Floyd box.

I never either of the two Albums box sets. Is this just those repackaged? Is this new or the same mastering? I have the Forecast: Tomorrow box set which is a nice primer, but I'd love to have this (I do have a bout 4 or 5 of the previous remasters). I didn't even know about this! Now it's unavailable and $155. I wish we put Jazz releases with the other New Releases.

I agree with you, Pete. Having a segregated "Different Strokes" board just makes everything harder to find. But there have been loud complaints from some quarters when other genres are posted amid the rock releases. Please read this relevant exchange from a few months ago:
viewtopic.php?p=2844538#p2844538 We have enough trouble with threads immediately being derailed by insulting/dismissive comments from people who hate the artist for being too pop or too country or too (insert non-rock genre here), and I really don't want to us to be dealing with even more of that.

I also just received my 'Weather Report' Box set. A bare bones set, no booklet or credits other than the 4 page insert in the disc. But for what I paid for to have the complete collection I am definitely not complaining. It is sure going to take me quite awhile to work through this set for sure.

Thanks, I like that each album has a link with excellent info. Most appreciative! This box is going to be so much fun. Glad I have a few days off this week so I can dive into it.

I don't have any Weather Report, and this box would be too much for me. What are a couple of their essential albums?

Hey Dean, for less than $20.00 this would be an excellent place to start.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0062EKY0O/?tag=imwan-20 I may start here. Jason also mentioned Heavy Weather, and since this set includes this I think it should work.
Thanks

I wanted to mention for those not in the know, Chester Thompson, drummer of the touring Genesis band played on Black Market.
