PS I have to add this comment from a WSJ reader: "wait until las vegas has recreational marijuana, then it will be coachella on steroids - year round!"

No complaints from me. I couldn't even count the number of music venues, of all sizes, that we have. It's insane.
There are currently 4 hockey-sized arenas with about 3 blocks of each other, with plans for a 5th. The 2,000 - 5,000 seat theaters are too numerous to list. Looks like there's a new domed stadium on the way as well.

The artists they headlined that article with are mostly crap (to me), but we get pretty much everyone.

Only been to Vegas once in 1995. What happened in Vegas stayed there for me.
I actually saw some of the Eagles perform there in a small club amongst other non music activities.
