Dumb counting game: using titles or lyrics from popular songs since 1950 let's count as high as we can.

The rules:

1 - No songs that include counting in them like "Rock Around the Clock" or "Reeling, Rocking and Rolling."

2 - No teaching songs for kids from Sesame Street, Schoolhouse Rock, etc.

3 - Years stated in four digits are treated as one number (1969) instead of two (19 or 69), so the line from the Eagles “Hotel California” that says, “We haven’t had that spirit here since 1969” only works if we’ve made it as high as one thousand nine hundred and sixty-eight; but years that are stated as only two digits are fine, so Bryan Adams’ “Summer of ‘69” can follow sixty-eight.

4 - Times can be split into separate numbers: 7:30 can be used as 7 or 30.

5 - Honor rule: you must have heard the song before playing the game. So you can Google for a number, but only use it if you’ve heard the song. Of course, we can’t prove whether or not you’ve heard it…
