97 years old and more ghoulish than ever, here's John Zacherle posing for a photo with his good friend Skip Rooney:

Not bad for someone who is 97.

Is that Skip Rooney of Uncle Floyd fame? Two of the best shows ever. Zacherle had a show on WPIX in the early 60's where he'd climb out of a large coffin like basket. He'd play cartoons. I also remember Uncle Floyd...no budget looking show but it was GREAT! Lots of musical guests NRBQ, Dave Edmunds, The Ramones...I really miss that show.

He's looking a lot less loony these days.

Zac was (and looks) great! I loved him as kid on the NYC indie stations.
