One of the greatest novelty recording artist, cartoon voice over and commercial ad person Stan Freberg passed away this week. A favorite of mine since his History of the USA from the early 50's and his later part 2 in the 90's - are great - He never completed the planned trilogy as his wife passed away shortly after vol 2. His other tunes are great also - he kind of picked up where Spike Jones left off (Spike said you can't fracture rock n roll cuz it's already broke - guess he just didn't understand it).
My favorite SF tune is Wunderful, Wunderful. An all-time classic!
Stan Freberg - thanks for all the laughs - Rest In Peace.
