a question for those of you who have found good sources of mini-LP storage bags, etc.: can you recommend any sources of blank cardboard mini-LP sleeves? same question re purchasing good-quality cloth-like protective inner sleeves (not paper ones, but rather something similar to those used by MoFi since they've moved to the mini-LP packaging?)
i've been motivated to look for these since going through the (small) headaches of dealing with replacements of damaged discs in the Neil Young Archives BD box. this whole disc-shoved-in-cardboard-sleeves-without-protection (*) pattern with all recent Neil Young and Grateful Dead releases is annoying (hence desire for inner sleeves); the Neil Young Archives packaging artwork is gorgeous but the disc covers are a bit "grabby" (discs difficult to extract) and when stored in their container are rather wedged in.
normally I'd just think of using slimline CD cases, but somehow all that I find these days now seem to have spindles that are really tight in the disc hole. after stress crack fiascos with some of the US-manufactured SACDs (ie the widespread Dark Side of the Moon SACD cracking problem), I'd like to store these Blu-rays in a type of protective cover which puts no pressure on the discs.
thanks for suggestions

I buy my inner sleeves here: http://www.soundsourcecds.com/catalog/He has the cloth you mention, but also has rice paper which I prefer & are cheaper.

I just ordered another 100 last week. Wes keeps raising his prices (may be due to the weak USD), but I've never found anyone else who carries these.

Can anyone help me with mini lp protective covers. I hate the standard 'envelope' type with the flap that has the glue strip. They bunch up and are a pain to remove and put the CD back in. Are there any better alternatives to protect your mini LPs than this type without a flap and glue strip?

This is probably not the solution that you seek, but I often use a slightly larger plastic envelope (the kind that fits jewel boxes). The sleeve doesn't look as sleek because of the extra plastic sticking out on both sides, but the cardboard and paper are protected, and the disc is much more accessible.

I use the double sleeves for my MoFi paper sleeve releases. They slide right over and tuck into the open end. Nice and snug but not too tight.

I personally use these: http://store.soundsourcecds.com/index.p ... cts_id=212The price has gone up a bit, but the only other ones I've ever seen were pure garbage from China (garbage is probably what the Chinese ones were made of; they actually scratched cd's!)
