The wife of Dallas Taylor has just announced that Dallas Taylor has passed away. Man, I always loved his work with CSN&Y and Manassas. Just loved his percussion playing, so tasteful.

The liver transplant back in 1990 did give him that second chance. Glad he got it!

Oh, I didn't remember that it was so long ago ... he deserved more time (we all do), but I have to say, 25 years after a liver transplant is a very good run.

i have always wanted to read his book "prisoner of woodstock".

whatever he says it was enough for CSN to take his picture off the album cover on the CD reissue.

RIP.

I had never heard of him before that Entertainment Tonight piece 25 (!) years ago, nor did I heard anything further. However, that story about his second chance stuck in my head all these years. I'm glad to hear he made the most of it and left a positive legacy beyond the music. RIP.
