I picked the Airplane & The Dead, but I like 'em all.

I've been on a Beautiful Day and Moby Grape kick.

I had too much to dream last night.

Overall, not a big fan of this scene. Quicksilver is an easy choice. The others are hit and miss, so I took the Dead because they hit the most.

Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane

Moby Grape, Flamin' Groovies, and Quicksilver right up there too.

I did this a few years ago..............though it included the whole Bay Area

A non-SF Bay Area group won pretty big.

I'm also not a huge fan of the scene, but my two favorites aren't on the list. As a horn band guy, I prefer Tower Of Power and the Sons Of Champlin over the rest of the choices.

Don't Creedence Clearwater Revival count as a San Fran band,at least geographically if not stylistically?

I would think so. If CCR is included then they are tops for me.

Just Santana for me-not a fan of that scene in the least.

Groovy not, man.
