Rest in peace to one of the most unique voices we've ever been lucky enough to hear. I saw him in 2011, and although he was in a wheelchair and clearly weak, he still sent chills down my spine.

I have a compilation where he did "Love Will Keep Us Together" and the first time I heard it I was a little put off by his voice for maybe the first minute, but by the end of the song I was just marveling at what a great and enthusiastic style he had.
