Very sad day. He was a regular on Bob and Tom, did a lot of great songs, was very smart and very Southern. He played against type and had an interesting outlook. Within the last couple years, he wrote a book on Ted Bundy and supposedly tied him to a couple other murders. I've heard him discuss the book (look for Chick McGee's podcast Off The Air, episode 70, for a pretty extensive talk about the book and a lot of other stuff).

This is one of my favorite songs of his...

Not a song, but music-related...

Ever wonder what would happen if Strother Martin sang Led Zeppelin?

My favorite Tim Wilson comedy bit...

and a close second...

And one last NSFW song...

I never got to see Tim live, but I'd hoped to. I'm going to miss hearing him on Bob & Tom.

RIP, Tim.

FYI, Bob & Tom have made today's show available for download on Sound Cloud.

Lots of Tim bits, and quite a few stories.

Excellent tribute from Billy Gardell today. Tim was a big booster of Billy's when he was starting out, and Billy's expressed a ton of affection for Tim. He even made sure that Tim was on the first episode of Road Dogs. Very heartfelt, some great stories - and Billy does a great Tim impression.

My favorite Tim Wilson bit was "Michael McDonald Had A Farm."
