I tell you, if you ever get the chance to see her live...do it.

Wow factor times 10. Just out of this world sound and she played many songs I recognized from previous albums (hearing the Mummers Dance live was a treat!)..

The sound quality at Radio City is amazing with the right artist.

My wife was thrilled with the concert (she did not know of her previuosly) and had a great time.

After a dinner at Hearland Brewery we actually walked in a little late (8:05PM) and had to wait in the back till the first song was over to get to our seats. Thats how punctual she is.

For anyone seeing her tour this Spring....make sure you stop by the merchandise table and pick up her new CD/DVD set. It is a tour exclusive. I did not know that and failed to get one.

I saw her in Toronto's 2800-seat Massey Hall on April 16-- the second night of her spring tour of the U.S. and Canada. Fantastic show! Started about 15-20 minutes late. She and her 9-piece band played two sets of about an hour each with a 20-minute intermission. And I did snag the 3-disc (1 DVD, 2 CDs) tour exclusive (until the Fall) release "NIghts from the Alhambra" at $35 (Canadian). If you caught her on "Great Performances" on PBS during the most recent pledge drive, this release is the full show on DVD and CD.

I would like to see her when she comes to Seattle. Not sure if I can afford it (tix are $40-$60, + Ticketmaster's extortion like fees). I know that's cheap by TODAY'S standards, but not by my pocketbook.

She's definitely worth a $40 ticket. Her music really does take you away to a mellow place.
