I'm going to New Orleans tomorrow (Ponderosa Stomp).......so here's a song from New Orleans to keep in the mood.
It will be a shame if you don't vote.
(Vote favorite version, not favorite artist)

I almost always go for the original artists in these polls, but in this case my favorite version is by Cheap Trick.

You should see me playing air drums to the intro on Cheap Trick's version.
Actually, you probably shouldn't.

Not a favorite song here by any means, but I do like the Cheap Trick version.
Have a great time in NoLa, Charles. If you haven't been to Coop's Place for a meal, try it, then wash it down with a glass of absinthe at Prava a few doors down on Decatur.

I also usually go for originals, and I love Fats, but Cheap Trick just tore this song apart and blew it up.
My bucket list includes seeing Jimbo's air drums.

I’m going with Cheap Trick, if only for the fact that they recently reminded me how hard they rocked this song in their intimate performance at the Grammy Museum last month.

Marcus wrote: Fats. With John Lennon's a close second. Leon Russell rips it up on the keyboards. Cheap Trick is a bit overdone for me. The things you learn. I had no idea Leon played keys on this album.

I don't think I've ever heard this song before. Listened to Fats Domino's on Spotify and found it annoying. I like Ike & Tina's, though. Don't feel the need to hear any other versions.
