I believe most of the exclusives on the 3 cd box have now been released elsewhere.

How many songs (if any) are still exclusive to this set?

That's a great question--I've been meaning to go through the Joplin catalog, as a bunch of "new" stuff came out last year. I just need some time to come up with a good answer. Looking at the tracklisting, however, my preliminary answer would be that the post-BBATHC stuff is all available elsewhere, with the possible exception of the live version of "Maybe", which I think--THINK--was first release on one of those Ed Sullivan comps about 20 years ago. Also, I'vve read that the version of "One Night Stand" on Disc 3 is a remix of the version on "Farewell Song," although it does sound much different.

Again, I need to check, but I've pretty sure that Tracks 1 and 3 on Disc 1 are still exclusive to the box, and I would have to check on tracks such as the live Big Brother stuff--if I recall correctly, part of the problem with that box is that the recording info in the booklet conflicts with more recent info, and is almost impossible to read.

For the most part, however, stuff that first showed up on this box, such as "Dear Landlord" and the "Me And Bobby McGee" demo, have all shown up on other Joplin titles.

The six-song promo disc for this box is still one of my all-time favorite promos.
