Now might be a good time for this. The last couple of albums were overly colored by PC's solo career, but now that that's in the toilet, they may get back to some real Genesis music.
Nobody bought it because PC wasn't on it, but I thought that Calling All Stations was a real return to form for them.

Probably the first time I've seen so much advanced notice for a press conference (the dates are using the European order - dd/mm/yy).
I'm sad to hear that Peter Gabriel isn't going to be involved, but then again if he's got an album already in the works I'd far rather he finish that off instead of going to play with the boys.
Well, it's not with Pete and Steve, but I am 100% excited as a lifelong Genesis fan that they'll be touring next year. Hope it comes to Philly where they used to sell out the Vet (60,000) 2 nights each tour. They won't play stadiums I'd guess but ampitheatres I figure. Cool news. Although it's not here in this article I did read somehwere that new material will surface-not sure if that's on a best-of or an album. Might not happen at all though. A pressconference is scheduled for Nov. 7. The article from CBD.ca:
More than 10 years after leaving Genesis, drummer and lead singer Phil Collins is reuniting with his bandmates, according to published reports.
Joining the 55-year old Collins on a tour will be guitarist Mike Rutherford, 56, and keyboardist Tony Banks, 56.
Phil Collins is reportedly rejoining two of his Genesis band mates for an upcoming tour. He left the band in 1996. (Richard Drew/Associated Press) Former members Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett are not going to be part of the tour, according to a report Wednesday on the website of U.K. publication Classic Rock Magazine. The magazine said the band has scheduled a news conference on Nov. 7 for what the band is calling their "Turn It On Again" tour.
A spokesman for Collins told the BBC Wednesday specific details of the tour would be announced in the next few weeks.
Genesis was formed by Rutherford, Banks and Gabriel in the 1960s and was a progressive rock band. Collins joined the band in 1970 as the drummer.
After Gabriel left in 1975 and Hackett followed soon after, the remaining trio moved toward a more pop style of music and had their biggest success in the late 1970s and 1980s, selling more than 130 million albums.
The last Genesis album Collins appeared on was 1991's We Can't Dance. He officially left the band in March 1996 to pursue his solo career full time. Rutherford and Banks released one more album in 1997 that was a commercial failure.
Collins told the Toronto Star in May he and his former bandmates were planning something, but shied away from committing to a five-member tour.
"It wouldn't be a tour in the strict sense of the word," he said, "but we would play shows in major cities around the world and Toronto would definitely be one of them."
Gabriel responded to the rumours on his own website on Oct. 7, saying in a statement that "I think Tony, Mike and Phil are rehearsing now, just checking out whether they want to do something together."
"I'm not involved in this round, or this year. I have not ruled out being involved in the future, but right now I'm [going to] focus on my own work."

Genesis Spokesman Confirms Reunion Plans A spokesman for Genesis has revealed that singer-drummer Phil Collins, guitarist Mike Rutherford and keyboardist Tony Banks have agreed to re-group for a major tour. The rep says details about the trek will emerge within a few weeks, and adds that the band also may do some new recording. Original Genesis frontman Peter Gabriel has declined to participate in the reunion. "It's not that I've ruled it out, but I've got some new material that I'll be working on," explains Gabriel.

Rockers Genesis plan reunion tour
Collins left the band in 1996 to pursue solo projects
Rock veterans Genesis are to reform, 10 years after frontman Phil Collins left.
Collins, 55, with guitarist Mike Rutherford, 56, and keyboardist Tony Banks, 56, have agreed to take part in a major tour.
Genesis sold over 130 million albums during the '70s and '80s, despite losing singer Peter Gabriel in 1975.
A spokesman said specific details of the tour and "long term plans" including possible new material would be announced in the next few weeks.
The group was formed by Rutherford, Banks and Gabriel at Charterhouse public school in the 1960s.
Collins joined as drummer in 1970 and initially the band enjoyed cult success.
They only hit the commercial big time with hits like I Can't Dance, Mama and Invisible Touch after Gabriel left.
Collins had already voiced interest in a reunion before he announced his spilt from Orianne, his wife of six years, in March.
Yeah, at this point a Genesis reunion minus Gabriel isn't all that much to look forward to... except that Rutherford and Banks will probably enforce a "no Disney songs allowed" policy during the tour.
Peter Gabriel has confirmed he will not be joining the Genesis reunion.
The prog giants reformed last year without their vocalist, who left the original incarnation of the group in the mid-1970s.
Gabriel has now refuted rumors he is to rejoin his old band, saying: "I don't think so...I don't have any ideological objections, it's just at the time it was expanding [and] I had other things I wanted to do."
He added: "You have to think twice about making a big-time commitment to something that is backward-looking."
Gabriel also told Planet Rock Radio that he had been keen to see the band play in Rome recently, but had been unable to make the gig.

Genesis kicked off their reunion tour on Monday (June 11) at Helsinki's Olympic Stadium.
The reunited band of Phil Collins, Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks played together for the first time since 1996.
The band was padded out with drummer Chester Thompson and guitarist Daryl Steurmer.
The band are planning more than 50 concerts across Europe and North America for the rest of the year.
Genesis played:
'Behind The Lines'/'Duke's End' 'Turn It On Again' 'No Son Of Mine' 'Land Of Confusion' 'In The Cage'/'The Cinema Show'/'Duke's Travels' 'Afterglow' 'Hold My Heart' 'Home By The Sea' 'Follow You Follow Me' 'Firth Of Fifth'/'I Know What I Like' 'Mama' 'Ripples' 'Throwing It All Away' 'Domino' 'Drum Duet' 'Los Endos' 'Tonight Tonight Tonight' 'Invisible Touch' 'I Can't Dance' 'The Carpet Crawlers'
Like they did with the Who tours, themusic.com is putting out all of the concerts that Genesis is performing. They are currently taking preorders. I have ordered some of the Who concerts and the quality is excellent and the packaging is minimal.
I think Trick Of The Tail is their best Collins song. It's left out.
i saw them on the 'trick of the tail" tour. they played the whole album.
also did a killer "supper's ready".
it was in a very small hall, (the seldom used cleveland music hall) i don't even think it was sold out, people weren't expecting much without gabriel i guess. it was a great show.

Saw them on the Invisible Touch tour, at their peak of popularity (so to speak) and as it was good, professional and I like and knew most of the songs, the show as really boring. I just saw their mini set on the Rock Honors and it was even more boring. No interest, especially at the ridiculous prices they are charging. Jeez.

Phil Collins - 'A monkey is a better drummer than me'
It's possibly one of the stranger adverts currently doing the rounds - and unexpectedly it's not for a car - but today (September 11) Phil Collins has come out in praise for Cadbury Dairy Milk's drumming monkey.
The advert of a big gorilla pounding along to the Genesis man's 1981 solo smash 'In The Air Tonight' has proven a big hit online, with clips being forwarded around the internet.
And now Collins has admitted he's a fan of the ad - along with the royalties presumably.
According to various red tops Phil has 'said': "Not only is a better drummer than me, he also has more hair than me!"
Oh, our aching sides.
Oh well make your own mind up, you can see the clip above.
