(FYI - I did ask Linda for approval before posting this.)
My wife has arthritis in both her knees - along with a torn ACL and various other tears and ailments - bad enough that it affects her climbing stairs and during some other activities. So a couple years ago, she asked if I wanted to sign up and do a fundraising walk. Which we've done now for a few years.
I asked Linda if it would be okay to post the link to my fundraiser page here, mainly because I've pretty well used up all my other contacts. Although I do feel a bit weird posting it to a forum. I will do what I did when I posted it to one of my guitar boards last year - if you do donate, no more than $10. Makes me feel like a little less of a douche.
Full disclosure #1: There are prizes at certain levels of donations. I don't usually hit those. I only know about them because my wife told me about them.
Full disclosure #2: I was diagnosed with arthritis in my knees a few months ago. (And everyone said I'd be the one to give her a disease!) I feel like a pretender mentioning it because I don't really have any restrictions because of it, and when I went to the doc, it was for something completely different with my knees. So to hear that was rather a surprise. But I'm doing the walk for my wife - she's the one who has the real impact.
The donations page is here:

Again, I hope no feels an obligation just because I make a nuisance of myself on here, and please, assuage my guilt if you do - no more than $10.
And I - and my wife - thank you.
