I have enjoyed the free postage costs from Amazon uk for the past year. As of a few weeks ago Amazon uk no longer offer free postage for Australian customers. I had a big order cued up in my wish list and was about to put in an order, the postage costs for what I wanted are now over $25US. Didn't order a thing as a result.

Very very sad

Maybe Amazon might consider opening an Australian store? Have you considered ordering from Amazon Japan?

Amazon Japan postage charges are hideous.

I'm annoyed theat Amazon Uk's free shipping has ended, too! But buying from them is usually a pretty good deal anyway, even with the postage charge.

I've seen (and bought) some tremendous deals from Amazon U.K. And I don't mind paying the shipping to the U.S. It is well worth the savings I've gotten.

Unless they've raised postage to the USA, they (& they're 3rd party sellers) are sending many items at below cost.

I suspect they get discounts due to volume.
