I think (judging by the 90+ setlists posted on setlist.fm) I might have seen the only show on the tour where he did Frampton Comes Alive in the 2nd set....last year in Montclair, NJ. He was pissed off with the show afterwards, and it looks like FCA at the beginning since.

Great video shot from the audience during "Nightrain" which was the final song of the night (before the encore's) at Terminal 5 NYC. At this point in the show I was up to the right in the second tier looking down.

They just added a Philly show at the Electric Factory-right around the corner from where I work. The show is Feb. 27 and tix are on sale tomorrow. Tix are $79 but fees make it $92 and I don't think I can swing it-plus, it well sell out right away. I had to sell my AC ticket to save money. Looks killer from those photos, plus I know the show was awesome because the show John and I saw last year was amazing.

Rob Zombie and Megadeth is a near-certainty for me, and Ghost-Mastodon-Opeth is strongly in the running. And they just announced Rick Springfield here in October.

http://ultimateclassicrock.com/axl-rose ... a-no-show/ Axl apologizes to Philly for canceled 2002 show!Is waiting almost 10 years to say you’re sorry a classic example of “too little, too late”? Not if you’re Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose, who used his band’s Feb. 27 show at Philadelphia’s Electric Factory to belatedly apologize for blowing off a gig a decade ago at the city’s First Union Center. The infamous GnR non-concert happened Dec. 6, 2002, at the Philly basketball/hockey arena now known as the Wells Fargo Center. When the band failed to show by 11:15 p.m., the concert was called off — prompting some disappointed audience members to throw chairs and cause other damage to the building. And that no-show was only the beginning. Ultimately, the remainder of GnR’s tour was canceled as well. Speaking between songs in Philly on Monday night, Rose rambled for a few minutes about the 2002 fiasco and alluded to an unspecified illness as his excuse for not being there (previous reports had indicated the band was still in New York from the previous night’s gig). He also called out his former manager and then-promoter Clear Channel Communications for what he felt were counterproductive and conflicting actions during that tour. “So it’s good to be here with you people tonight,” Rose said in conclusion. “I want to apologize for my part of that [situation]. … I’m not saying I’m innocent.”

We had a great time at the Van Halen show! After dinner at the Stage Door Deli (I had a pastrami on rye), Jimbo, Chris and I headed to TGI Fridays for a few drinks and then upstairs to see the opening act Kool & The Gang. And man is Kool & The Gang a dynamite act! Great horn section and some awesome bass playing by Robert "Kool" Bell, I got to hear my favorite tune "Jungle Boogie" from 1973 (I owned the lp). The sparse crowd at that time loved the music. Kudos to VH for letting Kool & The Gang to use their immense PA and video screen.
At about 9PM VH arrived and the crowd went wild. The band looked great and this time the sound was better than the previous tour. Got to hear some of my favorites including "Women In Love" and "Beautiful Girls" and got to hear a snippet of "Cathedral" during Eddie's guitar solo.
We had great seats thanks to Chris just to the left of the stage up in the third level. I liked their use of the video screen. Even the new songs worked very well.

Demi Lovato rocked the Strawberry Festival tonight, singing her butt off, accompanied by a four-piece band and two backup singers. She also played some acoustic guitar, electric guitar and piano and the crowd was on its feet for the entire show, singing along. Outstanding!

I see there was a transformer fire on 33rd St NYC near the Stage Door Deli (where we like to eat when we go to the Garden). and in other news, my tickets to Iron Maiden have been printed and are being mailed.

The Beach Boys just announced they'll be playing the Red Rock Amphitheater in Vegas on May 27. I was pumped until I realized:
A) I already have Van Halen/Kool & the Gang tickets for that same night.
B) The Beach Boys show is 21 and over (!) and I'd wanted to take my daughters, one of whom is only 16.
