Peter Green era Mac: Then Play On

mid-era Mac : Mystery To Me

Buckingham/Nicks era: Rumours

(to me, they are almost three different bands)

And, I don't own any of the solo stuff, except for Stevie's first lp and Greatest Hits, and "Holiday Road"

Mick Fleetwood - Walk a Thin Line (w/George Harrison, from "The Visitor")
John McVie - Lost What You Had (John McVie's "Gotta Band" with Lola Thomas)
Bob Welch - Ebony Eyes
Christine McVie - One In a Million
Lindsey Buckingham - Countdown
Stevie Nicks - I Can't Wait

(No opinion on any of the others.)

I'm stealing your idea!

Fleetwood Mac:
Peter Green era Mac: Then Play On
mid-era Mac : Bare Trees
Buckingham/Nicks era: White Album

Peter Green - an obscure Best Of on "Wise Buy" (or the Mayall/Green album)
Danny Kirwan - Second Chapter (though I don't like this one enough to own it)
Lindsay Buckingham - Buckingham-Nicks
Stevie Nicks - "Live In Concert" Out of print official VHS from the Belladonna Tour (the live version of Edge of 17 on the Nicks box came from this show)

Smart fellow, choosing the boxset which has material from all eras of Fleetwood Mac (at least, up to 1992, when "The Chain" was released) :yay:

Mac Fact: current recording artist Colbie Caillat ("Falling for You") is the daughter of engineer Ken Caillat, who co-produced the albums "Rumours", "Tusk", and "Mirage"
