Great game for the Jets! In other years that 50 yarder would've gone wide right.

Pathetic.

Wasn't a blow-out Geff, Seattle was down by a point I think in the 4th and then gave up back-to-back TD returns to Teddy Ginn, Jr. in the span of about 3 minutes.

Did you see the game? It was much worse than the score indicates. & SF also sucks.

In the pre-Rex days you are right - and that blocked punt would NEVER have bounced right into Truffant's arms. Never.

Rex has even influenced the tenacity of the team. Jim Leonhard's tackle of Jason Witten as he was about to score a TD was the game changer. He stops him and then Romo fumbles giving the ball back to the Jets. It kept the game close.

Key game for the Jets today. They need to take it to the Jags and get a win if they are to be taken seriously and keep up with the Pats.
As it is every season, the Jets need to win these types of games and stop playing heart attack football to get into the playoffs.

What's with the Jets wearing the throwback Titans uniforms today?

They wear them usually once or twice a season at home.

Well the Jet game has turned into a blowout. 29-3 Jets and they get another INT! :) What a nice relaxing day!

The Seahawks give a new meaning to the word "pathetic". And is Pete Carroll really as stoopid as he appears?

I picked ATL to beat Philly in my weekly pool, but that may have been one of the most unimpressive wins I've seen in a long while. Looked like Philly was toying with them and the fans were starting to turn on Atlanta. Kafka played very well, but I don't see Philly losing if Vick had stayed in. One thing I've noticed in the first 2 weeks is the defenses are way behind the offenses. 400 yards passing is the new 300 yards passing.

Yeah, I bet on Atlanta +2 1/2 and won figuring the Falcons wouldn't go 0-2, nor would Matty Ice lose at home. So while I was bummed about the Eagles losing, I was consoled by the win (and I pushed 2 others oddly w/ Dallas -3 and Buffalo -3 and was lucky to even get that).
The Eagles should've won, but Vick's 3 turnovers were killer and then him getting hurt was tough (as well as Jackson).
Kafka was excellent, but in the end, the Eagles deserved to lose as many of the fears have continued (no chemistry yet in the secondary, POOR linebacking play, patchwork offesnive line getting Vick pummeled, etc.).
I still don't see Super Bowl here, but it is true that the defenses are way behind and maybe things will settle for the NFL and the Eagles. But without Vick for any extended period they are in trouble. That's why I never make any season predictions-too much can change starting with Week One.

The Eagles have had good luck with backups; first Kolb, now Kafka. The Colts have not.

I enjoyed Kafka's novels in college, amazing that he can throw a football.

I was at the Saints/Bears game. It was alot of fun....Brees had a great performance, and Cutler was on his ass alot at the end. Very nice 79 yard touchdown pass in the 2nd quarter.

The Superdome is a great place to watch a game. If anyone here takes vacation trips to see games in other cities, New Orleans is a great place to go.

The NFL is threatening to fine players for faking injuries. Did anyone see the clip of two Giants faking at the same time? It was pathetic, and the Monday Night Football guys were all over it.

The Chargers were faking like crazy on Sunday against the Pats, trying to slow down the offense's momentum. It was a joke.

But don't worry Steve. Jeff George is ready to help.

If my Suckhawks get blown out this week at home against AZ as i expect they will, all that will be left for 2011-12 is the Andrew Luck sweepstakes, & Pete Carroll is too mediocre to even get that right!
