Why has she never even been nominated for the Rock 'N' Roll Hall Of Fame?

Agree, she is amazing and what a trailblazer. Still going strong as well. The PBS special about year ago really enlightened me on her career and involvement in justice and civil rights. Even Bob Dylan is in awe of her.

I think it's awful that Joan has not been nominated, along with another favorite of mine, Linda Ronstadt. Neither of them are given enough credit.

I confess complete lack of familiarity with the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame's standards, who's in there already, etc. - but based solely on the name, I would venture to suggest that (and I'm sure Joan would agree) she is in no way shape or form a Rock 'n' Roller.

Their definition is of rock is loose........Run DMC and Grandmaster Flash are in.

Also alot of the big soul Motown/STAX artists (fine with me), and some country (Johnny Cash).

Joan Baez would fit in....would also be fine with me.
