Looking to spend as little as possible. Would like some option that ideally would play SINGLE cd's (NOT a multi disc changer) & lossless files at least up to 192/24; + over the air AM-FM.

I know one option would be a cheap JVC or Kenwood with an aux in + a Pono, Fiio, etc.

I would prefer to just be able to insert a USB flash drive into a head unit if possible (& no, that is NOT a perverted statement!!)

At least what I want finally is starting to exist; but I am very much looking for suggestions.

One issue with my car is it requires a $300 kit just to change the proprietary multi disc piece of.... to a normal head unit, so I need to keep the price as low as possible.

I'm going to be using an inexpensive factory speaker system, so am not looking for true audiophile quality; the speakers aren't good enough to justify spending that kind of money.

As it is, I am slowly changing over from my 10,000+ discs to LOSSLESS files, & also I feel like I can only play garbage quality burned discs in the car, because most multi disc changers scratch the heck out of cd's.
