I had such an enjoyable time revisiting some of my favorite one-album artists in my 5-part (so far) ONE AND DONE blog series (which was discussed in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=90331) that I couldn't resist following it up with a single post about my favorite two-album artists. For anyone who's curious, here is a link to that post:

http://kamertunesblog.wordpress.com/201 ... m-artists/

In this post I highlight the following six artists with some thoughts on their albums and an audio clip for each:
JELLYFISH - Bellybutton and Spilt Milk
DANNY WILSON - Meet Danny Wilson and Bebop Moptop
TRAVELING WILBURYS - Vol. 1 and Vol. 3
GRINDERMAN - Grinderman and Grinderman 2
U.K. - U.K. and Danger Money
CPR - CPR and Just Like Gravity
THE FIRM - The Firm and Mean Business

I also included a brief mention of the following artists:
Animal Logic
Bernard Butler
Mike Rutherford
Giraffe
The Housemartins
Manassas
Novo Combo
October Project
The Raconteurs
Rodriguez
Buggles
Sky (Doug Fieger's pre-Knack band)
World Trade
Piper
The Knitters
Gay Dad
Casbah Club
E

Would love to hear your thoughts on any of these artists, and let me know which ones I've forgotten. Thanks.

I have "Live At The Wiltern" (which is fantastic) but was never able to find a copy of the other live album. Nice to find someone else who loves CPR.

"live at cuesta college" is just the 3 of them, no bass and drums.

Crabby Appleton - s/t, Rotten To The Core
I love "Go Back."

Bobby (Weir) & The Midnights - s/t, Where The Beat Meets The Street.
The s/t is very good, Where The Beat Meets The Street is one of the worst Grateful Dead related albums ever released.

Well, maybe this is where Scandal comes in.
The 5 track mini-LP with Goodbye To You, then the Warrior album, oh yeah...

That must be really good. Too bad it's impossible to find. I'll keep searching.

Not familiar with Sneaker and only know Left Banke via their most famous song. Thanks for adding to the two-and-through list.

I've only ever been a casual punk fan so these guys slipped under my radar. Didn't realize they only had two albums. Good to know.

Wow, they only had two? I thought it was at least three. I was never much of a fan, mostly because I didn't like his voice. I love The (English) Beat, though.

I copied a friends Crabby Appleton CDs a couple of years ago. If I knew them better I would have included them in my post. Thanks for the info on those Bob Weir albums. Good to know there's only one worth checking out.

D'oh, I should have included them in my post, even though one is only an EP. Good call.

sneaker is very steely-dan-ish. i think they were from california.

left banke too is not very good. they should have stopped at 'pretty ballerina".

Also a huge fan of CPR, although I could never get into Just Like Gravity like I love the original CPR album.
