I only have 2 on the list.....Paul McCartney CitiField and Exile On Main Street (never knew old records were considered part of these lists).
There are a couple others with greatest hits CDs I don't have since I have most of the regular albums (Bob Marley, CCR).
I'm glad I'm out of touch with new music.

Out of 200? 6.
The Exile On Main Street remaster Paul at Citifield Muse/ Resistance Tom Petty/ MOJO Linkin Park/ A Thousand Suns Kate Perry/ Teenage Dream (for my daughter)
That top 10 is a real dead zone other than a few songs by Lady GaGa and that one single by The Black Eyed Peas. Nothing pops out on that list for me that I need.
btw....I'm not counting old releases like Journey's Greatest Hits or Guns N Roses Greatest Hits.

Four.
Katy Perry, Godsmack, Avenged Sevenfold and McCartney. I really only saw a few others that I would consider getting, and maybe one or two I was surprised I didn't own.

And thats probably only a fraction of all the CDs Jimbo bought this year since it only includes the top selling discs. I wonder what the whole total is this year? I probably bought just under 100 CDs this year.... a real low point.

89 for me...need to rush out and buy a few more before Jimbo does!
Seriously, there are two reasons why my number is that high...there are a lot of older reissues in there and I have two teenage kids. Otherwise, my numbers would be way down given that list.

It is amazing how poorly some albums sold, like the Katie Perry. You'd think that would be top ten.

That list is a bit flawed. Some of the titles are ancient.
