Don't know if anyone here has heard of this band, but they were on Bob & Tom last week and they were killer.

They did the performance in full costume, which apparently took a couple hours to get ready - at one point, Bob said, "Do you think they wish they'd called the band 'Here Come The Casually Dressed Guys'?"

Their web site is http://www.herecomethemummies.com. Some good stuff. They have a DVD and a few CDs. Gonna pick something up.

I downloaded both of these songs from iTunes yesterday and have had them in heavy rotation all day... their Bob and Tom performances are very tight, almost indistinguishable from the studio versions I downloaded. Great stuff.

Return performance on Bob & Tom. They'll be on the TV show on WGN - guessing Monday evening/Tuesday morning. They did about seven songs, only one of which I recognized from an earlier appearance.

And they're coming back here in October, but unless the boy ages five years between now and then, he misses out again.

Saw a mention a while back that they were writing songs for the next album.

They were not on last night's telecast (from Thursday's show), so look for them on Monday night/Tuesday morning. Possibly with some overlap into the following shows.

A bit of Mummy-styled holiday cheer...
