Totally forgot, but we had a meeting of the minds if not in person a few weeks ago when Charles was forced to go to Philly for a hotel he had booked in advance of seeing Ray Davies which as we know got postponed.
We were unable to meet up, but did speak by phone for a good 45 minutes or so which was a pleasure. Charles is a very nice guy-but I think we all knew that, and was very easy to converse with. It was just not convenient enough for us to meet up
as he was in Center City and I'm in South Jersey. Not far away but it would have been tough on a Holiday weekend (Thanksgving) for me to get into the city and park, etc. and truth be told I'm still not feeling very well, but hopefully we will meet in person at a concert at some point.
In any case, it was still great chatting, and what did we talk about for 45 minutes you ask? Music-duh.

Always nice to meet up with fellow ICEers and IMWankers. We really should try and do a NYC meet next year down by J&R Music World and hit a restaurant.

If I could ever line it up with my NY doctor appointments, I'd be up for it. I usually fly in, see my doctor, then fly back to Vegas- but I'd stay over for an IMWAN/ICE get-together.

We should just set a date to start with and then work around it with everyone's schedules. I'd probably bring the wife it that would be OK.

I'm guessing it would likely be a Saturday or Sunday, right?
Doesn't matter to me, but I'd try and get my doc's appt on the Friday or Monday.
If we were to plan ahead to give most of us time to prepare - that would probably mean a late spring or summer date, no?

Only if you promise to leave some stuff for the rest of us to buy.
