Watched this with my daughter last night. I mentioned in another thread that I saw a preview of "Camp Rock 2" that depicted the 3 Jonas Brothers and a horse in the exact same scenario as the Byrds were on the cover of "The Notorious Byrd Brothers" lp. Well in the movie, I also caught tributes to Springsteen's "Born in the USA" (that scene was pretty obvious), but there were also clever ones showing reenactments of the covers of Boz Scaggs' 'Silk Degrees", Wings' "Band on the Run" and "Brothers in Arms" by Dire Straits.

The movie itself is typical Disney TV kids stuff, but trying to spot the album cover scenes was fun for me. I thought they did them very well and without any fanfare - kind of like some inside joke for the adults. I wonder how many folks picked up on these (outside of the Springsteen one) and how many I might've missed.

Along those lines, when we saw Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, I think my friends and I were the only ones who picked up on the fact that one character is named Stephen Stills.

Stephen Still's roommate in the novels is Young Neil.
