I am surfing the web here in an effort to find sheet music for the song "As We Go Along", performed by the Monkees on their 1968 "Head" soundtrack album, and written by Carole King and Toni Stern.

Unfortunately, sheet music for the song doesn't appear to have ever been published in any Monkees or King songbook, and all I can find online is the following page with the lyrics and chord tabs: http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/m/m ... ng_crd.htm

Will that webpage page be adequate for a singer and a guitar player to be able to perform the song? Or is there a place somewhere offline, out in the real world, where one can purchase the sheet music, printed on paper, with all proper royalties going to Ms. King and Ms. Stern?

I thought guitar tabs were generally sufficient to play a song. I'm barely capable of strumming my guitar though, so what do I know?

with tabs it all comes down to who's transcribing the piece. most are fairly accurate and should do the trick.
