For some reason I can't fathom, Wilco is coming to my hometown to play our small theater. Got 15th row tickets today :-D

As I read this, I'm A Wheel came up on my shuffle.
I love this band. Travelled from Los Angeles in October to see them play Chicago, and it was worth the trip.
I'm thinking about catching Atlanta.

Holy cow Dean. You're a devoted fan! I think the farthest I've ever gone for a concert was Boston to Portland, Maine.

I'm only going to have to travel 2 miles for this concert, and that makes me very happy. :)

The Concord show was unbelievable! The Capitol Center holds 1200 people, and it was of course sold out. They played for 3 hours, and I'm still exhausted :) This was the second time for me--the first was on the minor league baseball park tour last summer--and this was much better. These small venues are the perfect place for them. My sister-in-law ran into her step-brother (who she hadn't seen in ten years), who was working the board. She's going to try to get a tape of the show.

Walking down Main Street after the show, I ran into Grace Potter, who had also been at the show. We chatted for a while about her touring plans for the next few months and such. She seemed really excited that we were fans, and she was really nice.
