Boy George has said that his old group Culture Club may reform next year to play live.

The singer told BBC Radio 5live that the band, who broke up in 1986 but have reunited occassionally since, might get together again to mark the 30th anniversary of them forming.

"I think we could do a one-off gig or maybe a small tour," he said. "It's our 30th anniversary next year so we may do something. It's all about my mood at the time."

The reggae-pop last played in 2002 at the London Royal Albert Hall to mark the 20th anniversary of their first hit single.

I just read in the paper today that Boy George wants to record with Lady GaGa. He's also got a new single out, "Amazing Grace".

Don't be so hasty. I was all set to buy tickets when they played MSG in '84 but was persuaded not to go, and I've long regretted that decision. Culture Club '11 might not be the same as Culture Club '84 but it's still Culture Club with the same musicians.

I finally caved in and bought a Culture Club comp a while back. Some good singles on there!
