Guns N' Roses' Axl Rose is being sued by his ex-manager Irving Azoff for $2 million (£1.3 million).

Azoff, of the Front Line Management company, filed papers in Los Angeles yesterday (March 25), reports BBC News.

He claims that Rose verbally agreed to give him 15 per cent of his earnings for overseas performances. Guns N' Roses have recently been playing shows in Asia.

A verbal agreement with Axl Rose? Yeah, good luck with that, pal...

The following exchange took place after an Axl Rose concert many months back:

AZOFF: So, I get 15 percent of the Japanese and European tours, right, Axl?

ROSE (drunk): Yeah, sure, man. 15 percen....(Rose nods off).

Nah - I think Azoff probably sent a letter that read something like...

Mr. Rose,

I would like to schedule a meeting with you at 1:00 PM on the afternoon of the 24th. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss my proposal that I receive 15% of all earnings for all European performances. If you do not appear within 179 minutes of the scheduled meeting time, your agreement to said proposal will be assumed.
