It's snowing pretty hard right here in the South Jersey/Philly area. Changed to snow about 15 minutes ago. We won't get a big accumilation due to the ground being wet, but it's cool anyway to see snow so close to Christmas. Of course, some of you have probably already had your fair share of snow this year depending on where you live. Any of you New Yorkers seeing the white stuff yet?

It's still rain("but instead it just kept on raining...") It was originally thought it might change to snow, but now it appears not. It was a nasty day anyway.

It was snowing pretty hard for a while up here. It has stopped and we have a thin coating on lawns, but there is no accumulation on streets or sidewalks.

None here in Toronto. And it's supposed to be a milder than normal winter. This is the first time in our history that there's been no snow at all in November. I don't think one snowflake has fallen yet.

I was in NYC yesterday for our usual "Saturday Night at the Movies." It snowed pretty steadily for a few hours, but didn't accumulate at all.
I hate snow on general principle. An inch on Christmas Eve is acceptable for atmosphere, as long as it's all melted by the 26th. Otherwise, I take each flake personally.

I love snow (though I really shouldn't since I work outdoors) but it is wonderful stuff initially. Its just that when it sits around a city for a few days, it turns into an ugly blackened mess.
But there is nothing like looking out your window and seeing those flakes in your warm home.
It's ice I detest. Horrible stuff. Very dangerous. I busted a rib once falling to the concrete slipping on some of that "black ice".

3+ inches of fluffy snow fell here in West (by God) Virginia on Saturday morning. Perfect for snowballs/snowmen, the bare trees look beautiful with a coating of white, and best of all the roads remained clear.

I 100% agree with all this-love to watch it fall, hate to shovel it and see the ass-ugly blackened snow. And-Ice not nice (except on here!).

Uh-oh. We're due for anywhere from 6-20 inches Saturday/Sunday. I love that range of 6-20, doesn't leave much room for error, eh? Hope we don't get buried, but it's kinda neat to have a major snowstorm so close to Christmas and there's another one due around Christmas Eve as well.

Ahhh... what a nice sight that was, thanks Linda. Wonder who they were playing-can't tell, but it looks to be a blue uniformed-team. At least Halladay will enjoy the snow, having spent all those years in Toronto!

They now are GUARANTEEING we get a at least a foot of snow. Ha! We'll see. As for retailers, it's been bad enough this year, but I'm sure this will hurt being the last weekend before Christmas. That being said, the malls near us are mobbed all day long. And, yes, idiots on the news are panicking for their bread and milk. That of course has become major news. Sigh...

Just got home from work and now I see, it's supposed to start at 2am and we're really supposed to get 15-25 inches. Plus, 27 degree temperatures and 25-30 MPH winds will make this quite interesting. This will be cool to watch fall, but after that-UGH! I wish it would fall during the Eagles game Sunday-that would be kick-ass but it's supposed to be done by then.
