Or has everything been said now? De La Soul are doing their 20th anniversary tour now.

Has it been 30 years already? Yikes! Of course, when I first heard rap, my reaction was, "This'll be over in a year or two." I also said the same thing about Madonna, so whaddya I know??

No. Unless we go back to the pre-gangsta days.

I expected it would last a little longer, maybe ten years, but nowhere near the 30 year mark!

I voted "indifferent". I've enjoyed a few rap tunes over the years but it's not my steady diet or even close to it. Most of it gets on my nerves these days.

Other than Ice-T's Original Gangster - which is actually one of my favorite albums, or put in another way - one of those albums which had a powerful and lingering impression upon first listen (along the lines of Red Hot Chili Peppers' Blood Sugar Sex Magik and Miles Davis Kind of Blue) - I am so not into rap or but it remains off my radar that I am indifferent.

It's nearly time for an old school rap revival!!
Like those Doo-Wop concerts that tour once a year, when will we see old rappers and hip-hoppers perform their classic hits and moves on stage to wild delight?

I've got enough hip-hop to last me for a while. It's like reggae for me-a little bit goes a very long way. The occasional record that I like may pop up,but I'm pretty well done.

Sure, bring it on! The genre needs more performers who are ready to push the artistic envelope, though...

That audience seems a little too happy to hip-hop.

Hip-Hop is the name of the pathetic 76ers mascot. They have lost 11 in a row. Hip-hop sucks and Hip-Hop sucks too. So do the Sixers.

Just not my thing. If it's yours, more power to you. It seems to have become mostly a parody of itself, from what little I hear.
