I know SW has another Yes 5.1 mix completed which hasn't been announced yet. I'm hoping it's Drama but more likely it'll be a more marketable title like Fragile, Going For The One or 90125.

I THINK there is a 5.1 older DVD-A of Fragile.

While not a 5.1 fan, It seems to me that 90125 was made for the format (I mean that in a positive way)!

Yep I have Fragile as a DVDA in surround. It's pretty good. But I welcome anything by Steven in surround format. 90125 would be absolutely awesome.

I have that Fragile DVDA. I think it sounds terrible. If that's the next one to be remixed by SW, I expect it to sound amazing, although I would prefer Drama or 90125 next. I eagerly await "Hearts" in 5.1.

The DVD-A of Fragile was disappointing. I'm in for a re-do by Steverino!

Drama is my favorite album too and to hear the whole thing live would be awesome.

Squire hopefully will be back by then, but he didn't even play on two tracks on that album anyway (one had no bass and Horn played on the other).

I have to believe that tour will happen here.

Anderson refused to sing anything from that album live which caused problems within the band when they wanted to play some songs from it on the 35th anniversary tour.

Don't get me started on Billy Sherwood & his $ mentality.

I also thought that Squire owned the name "Yes" 100%????? So how can they use it? Remember ABWH (4/5 of the band) not being able to cal themselves "Yes"?

Squire is still in Yes, I don't follow.

He's ill and being filled in for.

I agree on the cheese factor but many of those musicians on those albums are excellent.

The albums however are pretty lame I agree. Sherwood isn't much to me and we agree there too, and I would've preferred someone else to fill in for Squire.

Drama is a great album - much better than some of the other, more widely acclaimed stuff.

They'll never make it to Australia to play, but if there winds up being a live DVD of this, I'll buy it in a second.

Some of them are good and others...not so much. I like the fact that he shines a spotlight on these "washed up" musicians since many of them are still really good.

I really liked Colin Moulding's version of "It's Raining Again" on the Supertramp tribute.

From Classic Rock Magazine:

Chris Squire asked Alan White to keep Yes moving forward – and the drummer says that’s exactly what’s going to happen.

But he admits it’s going to be difficult to continue without the only man to have been part of every lineup.

Squire died of leukaemia last month, aged 67.

White tells Billboard: “It’s certainly going to be hard without him – but he called me and asked me to keep everything going regardless of what happens.

“So absolutely we’re moving ahead. I’m going to do it for him.”

He adds: “Everything has been pretty positive in that regard. The fans are behind the band. It doesn’t seem like anybody’s given up. Things can’t just stop. We’ve got to maintain the Yes name and meet the high standards of musicianship Chris created.”

He believes Squire knew in April that he was seriously ill, but only told his bandmates the following month. “We got an email that said, ‘I don’t think I’m going to be able to make this tour, so if you can do it without me I want you to keep things going.

“‘I’ll get rid of this and see you next spring in Europe.’

“He had a very positive attitude – but it was clear that something was wrong.”

Billy Sherwood, who took over Squire’s role when he dropped out to receive cancer treatment, will continue in that position when Yes begin their US tour with Toto next month.

White says: “It will be very hard to go on stage and not see that familiar figure standing there.”

The set will contain a musical tribute to their late colleague. “We’re going to try a few ideas out,” the drummer reports. “We’ll definitely pay homage, but I’m not quite sure in what form yet.”

White won’t rule out recording in the future, but he says: “It’s too early to venture into thinking like that. We want to get the band on an even keel first.”

I really don't remember who was feuding with who, but wonder if Anderson will return with the loss of Squire?

That would be nice and I think it's possible for a Farewell Tour.

But...Yes have always had money management issues so I'm thinking the band carries on, and that's their right.

I might still see them this summer, but without Squire it's a tough sell for me.

I did just remember that Squire owned the name. That battle may be interesting....................

The way I understand it is that whoever's in the band is an equal partner.

But I doubt that Jon Davison is a full member.

So maybe it was a situation where Squire owned the name and whoever was in the band shared equally in the profits, etc.

I don't know.

But Yes without Squire won't be Yes for me.

They are entering tribute band territory now as both Howe and White are aging too. Still fun to see Howe play his guitar but I've been spoiled with their many Westbury Music Fair appearances (where you can literally sit feet away from him).

I'd give a listen to a Howe/Wakeman/White/Anderson album. Don't know if it would be quality or not.

I think once they get past the currently scheduled dates they will have a hard time selling the Yes name as the band is currently configured.

Jon Davison/Steve Howe/Billy Sherwood/Geoff Downes/Alan White

I look at that lineup and the initial impression is...wow, Asia recruited Alan White to play drums, that's pretty cool!

I'd be surprised if Jon Anderson isn't invited back in the near future.

It would be very unfortunate for Jon Davison as he seems to be the most viable songwriter in the band at this point in time.

I would see a final tour with Jon Anderson/ Steve Howe/ Alan White and friends but even that really isn't Yes.

True. I suspect they could get Wakeman, but that still leaves out Bruford & of course Squire.
