Freddie & the Dreamers flew in the face of reason with their music and their crazy dance steps in the '60s. Something that stupid shouldn't really be that successful, but like Tiny Tim in America, anything was possible in the 1960's, or so it seemed:

Can you do the Freddie?

Night-night, everyWAN! Sweet dreams...

I have 3 45's somewhere - the best of lp pictures and a cd anthology.

You Were Made For Me and I'm Telling You Now were very good...and then there's Do the Freddie.

I listen to them once every 10, no make that 15 years.

I loved these guys when I was a kid. I put "Do The Freddie" on one of my mix CDs a while back so I hear it in the car every so often. It still brings a smile.
