I have 15,000 songs on my iPod. However, when syncing up my iTunes to iPod, I got an error message (damn if I could remember what it was) Next think I knew, my music library in iTunes only consisted of music that has the music file on my hard drive (for space purposes, I delete the music file off my hard drive after it syncs to my iPod) Now if I sync my iPod and iTunes, it will only recognize this very small list of songs.
Not wanting to start all over, is there a way I can reverse sync? I want my iTunes library to match what is in my iPod. I started to do a little Google searching, but figured this group here could give me advise.
Thanks.

I think I fixed issue. I found my previous library file that was changed to (damaged). I changed the current library file to (old) and renamed supposedly damaged file. Synced iPod and every thing seems to be back to normal. Lesson learned: save library files often.
