Something a little offbeat for the Friday List this 4th of July weekend. Songs of self-independence, self-reliance, self-assertion, and like that. You'll get the idea. Most of these will probably start with first-person pronoun 'I' but let's see what you'll can come up wtih.

I'm Free--Rolling Stones/Soup Dragons
I Will Survive--Gloria Gaynor
I Won't Back Down--Tom Petty
I'm the Greatest--Ringo Starr
I'm Alive--Neil Diamond
I've Got the Music in Me--Kiki Dee
I'm Still Standing--Elton John
Do Anything You Wanna Do--Eddie & the Hotrods
