An open letter to Linda:
Dearest Linda,
I've noticed that you seem to have a little Yoo-Hoo thing going on -- your avatar, the imwan header, etc. Let me pass along this little cautionary tale. I can't verify it, but I heard it somewhere a long time ago, I think from my dad, so I'm sure it's true. Or maybe it was Wikipedia. Or Fox News.
When Yogi Berra played catcher for the Yankees, there was a time when he went into a deep hitting slump. Yogi was an all-star and an eventual hall-of-famer, but he just wasn't hitting a lick. Turns out, cases and cases of empty Yoo-Hoo bottles were found in his locker. Yogi had been drinking way too much Yoo-Hoo, and it sapped his supernatural baseball powers. As soon as he stopped the Yoo-Hoo, he started hitting again, and the Yankees won yet another pennant and World Series (they used to do that a lot).
The moral of the story is don't drink too much Yoo-Hoo if you have supernatural powers.
Respectfully,
GMWAN

Of course, Yogi was the spokesperson for Yoo-hoo, so they probably gave him as much as he wanted.

I've always wondered what the hell this is: is it chocolate milk or chocolate water? And what the hell is Moxie?

I've never had it, either. You don't see it much in the midwest. Is it like chocolate milk?

When I was in England, I tried their version of it......Mars. It's Yoo-Hoo with caramel in it. Really good.

Which is why spiders prefer Yoo-Hoo to chocolate milk by nearly a 2-1 margin...

What's the viscosity like? Yoo-Hoo is like comic books. If you don't develop a taste for it in childhood, you never will.

I loved Yoo-Hoo when I was younger. I stopped drinking it for no good reason. I may just go out and have one tomorrow. Me-He for Yoo-Hoo

When I do drink a YooHoo, it makes me feel 10 years old again.

Actually, I think some pop (soda) company made chocolate soda once, but it was awful.

Was that Jones that made chocolate soda? I know they make the turkey flavored soda around thanksgiving.
I liked Yoo-Hoo alright enough as a kid here in Ohio, but the last time I had one was when I was 20 or so (35 now). It didn't seem to be as good as when I was a kid, much like the Charleston Chew I had the other day.
