The new remasters are fine, but yep, they're loud, at least the first 4. After that, not so much. In fact the 1978-on up are really nice. The earlier ones? Loud, but me likes it loud. So does Gene $immon$.

Mick Taylor denies he wants to sue The Rolling Stones
Guitarist Mick Taylor's management have told NME.COM that a report suggesting that he is planning to sue The Rolling Stones for unpaid royalties is incorrect.
Taylor's Manager Jeff Allen said the guitarist had been "horrified" to read reports that suggested he was owed money by his former group.
He added that Taylor – who played for The Rolling Stones between 1969 and 1974 – "doesn't feel any need to sue" the band, whom he still remains close to.
"He [Mick Taylor] certainly didn't say that he was going to sue the Stones. Mick's got a very good relationship with the Stones," Allen explained.
"In fact, the last time we met up with them, him and Keith [Richards, guitarist] were like long-lost lovers – hugging each other and happy to see each other. When Mick was ill either six or eight weeks ago with some kind of chest complaint, Mick Jagger had his office phone up to see what was going on, and then he phoned up the hospital just to check on Mick because they were worried about him. So there's absolutely no animosity between Mick and the Stones."
Allen went on to strongly deny other aspects of the article that appeared over the weekend (September 13).
"You can imagine the shock, horror and disbelief when that article came out in the Daily Mail. The emphasis of the article was that Mick was some kind of run-down, down-and-out tramp living in Suffolk. The reality is Mick's having the house done up," he said. "Mick is living in Holland at the moment with his girlfriend."
He went on to confirm that Taylor's forthcoming tour dates in Germany and France are still set to go ahead as planned, and urged fans to check Micktaylor.net for more information.
The Rolling Stones early bookmakers' favourites to top Glastonbury 2010
The Rolling Stones were today named the bookies' favourites as the headliner to close next year's sell-out Glastonbury Festival.
Despite none of the acts being announced until next year, tickets for the event sold out within hours of going on sale and now bookmakers and fans are speculating on who will close the final night.
"We have lost a few quid on the headline act for two years running and it will be interesting to see if punters get it right again," said William Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.
The bookmakers have The Rolling Stones as 4/1 favourites to play top of the bill on the Sunday night next year, with Coldplay and David Bowie joint second favourites at 8/1.
Oasis, whose guitarist Noel Gallagher quit the group in August are ranked 33/1 down from 50/1 after a number of speculative bets.
"Right now the brothers may feel that the split is irreconcilable but in the cold light of day they may change their mind and Glastonbury would be the perfect place for a triumphant return," Adams added.
The full odds on who will close the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 2010 with William Hill are:
Rolling Stones 4/1 Coldplay 8/1 David Bowie 8/1 Muse 10/1 U2 12/1 Arctic Monkeys 12/1 Radiohead 14/1 Prince 16/1 Elton John 16/1 Red Hot Chili Peppers 16/1 Kings Of Leon 16/1 Green Day 20/1 Robbie Williams 20/1 Stone Roses 20/1 Madness 25/1 Spandau Ballet 25/1 Manic Street Preachers 25/1 Take That 33/1 Oasis 33/1
Rolling Stones' Ronnie Wood launches clothing line
The artwork from Ronnie Wood's paintings appear on a new range of clothing and accessories for high end department store Liberty.
The line, which officially launched yesterday (Oct 27), has seen Wood join forces with Liberty's creative director Tamara Salman to produce a small, capsule collection made up of various fabrics printed with images from Wood's paintings.
Three paintings are being used for the prints, including I Feel Like A Painting, which, says Wood, is inspired by ''the day when I decided to turn my life around''.
The I Feel Like A Painting shift dress is available for £495, while the leather day bag costs £715.
There are also men's T-shirts emblazoned with the title of the painting onsale.
As well as being onsale in Liberty, the range will also be available in Harrods in London, as well as stores in Japan, Ireland, Italy and the United States, reports the Telegraph.
Ronnie Wood has hinted that The Rolling Stones might be set to begin touring again.
The band who have not toured together since finishing their Bigger Bang tour in 2007, are said to be getting along well with a set of shows possibly in the works for 2010.
"It's all very good. I saw Mick [Jagger] and Charlie [Watts] last week. Everything is great," Wood told BBC 6 Music, before saying he was confident that the band could tour in 2010, declaring: "Let's hope so, yeah!"
As previously reported, a Rolling Stones tour could put a halt to Faces reunion with Rod Stewart, although potential dates for either band have yet to be confirmed.
Well, I'm excited to see them again, but this is a quote from Wood's young minx, so we'll see. I hope there is a new album tied in-I really, really liked A Bigger Bang. From Anti-Music.com:
The Rolling Stones, whose last tour finished in 2007, are planning a mammoth run of shows next year, according to Ronnie Wood's cocktail waitress girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova.
The 20-year-old Russian waitress – who has been dating 62-year-old Ronnie since he walked out on his 23-year marriage to Jo Wood in July 2009 - has been a little indiscreet in letting the world know about their plans.
A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: "She's not supposed to talk about it, things haven't been finalized but she couldn't resist telling a few friends."
Ronnie recently admitted he had been in touch with his Rolling Stones bandmates Sir Mick Jagger and Charlie Watts and insisted everything was 'great' between them, despite rumors he could be fired from the group because of his partying lifestyle.
