I've been looking for a while for a compact solution for storing blu rays. I want to get them out of their plastic containers that take so much space and store them in thinner sleeves. After a lot of searching, I finally stumbled onto Discsox HiDef Pro Sleeves which are perfect for my purposes. That's step one. The second step that's got me a little uncertain yet is what I want to store those sleeves in. While I'm really sold on these sleeves, the same company offers a plastic rack for storing the sleeves and I'm not at all sold on that rack. I'd much rather have some kind of bin to hold these sleeves. Has anyone done anything similar to this and if so, what was their solution?

Here are the two pieces I've mentioned here, the sleeves and the rack that I don't like. The main retailer for these items is the Container Stores, though you can find them at other places for higher costs. Let me also note that these sleeves aren't really cheap...about $20 for 25 sleeves. Still, they for my purposes are much nicer than anything else I've seen.

Have you considered placing the sleeves in a large burlap sack?

I know I sound like a crazy person, but why not a CD book? BR's are scratch-proof, no?

I have been using DiscSox for years. CD's, DVD's and BD's. Anything in a standard Jewel Box goes into a sleeve on arrival and Jewel Box goes into the Recycle bin. All kept nice and neat in Can Am Media Cabinets.
