Tomorrow night Jimbo and I will be attending the reunion concert of the great Crowded House down at the Irving Plaza in NYC! It will be great to hear all their pop gems live on stage. I imagine their fan base will be quite rabid. If they play "Four Seasons In One Day" I'll be over the moon.

Enjoy the show! I saw them here in Toronto last fall and really enjoyed the show, although I bet they're even tighter now. They did play '4 Seasons'.  I was hoping for 'Private Universe' too, but didn't get it.

We will also be having dinner pre-show at The Cottage, a nice Chinese restaurant right next to the Irving Plaza.
You can't beat those shrimp rolls and chinese crabcakes! mmmmmmmm

If the show is anything what I saw in Milwaukee last year, you guys are in for a real treat - especially if you like "4 Seasons in One Day". Not only did they sound beautiful, but their lighting/set/general stage presentation was gorgeous - and they seemed to be having a lot of fun.

I'm getting psyched and getting ready. Just got in from the gym and some shopping. After a shower I'll be all ready to head into the city. Just wish the weather was better. Its been 2 days of rain around these parts.

Had a great time at the concert!
Neil Finn looks and sounds amazing. Great energy and that wonderful voice. A big highlight was the encore with "Weather With You" that includes the audience sing-along.
They also debuted 3 new songs that were pretty good, especially the first one called "7 8 9". He says a new album should be out by Christmas.
Also a Split Enz reunion tour could happen eventually.
They were selling a 2CD live set at the show which is a recording of their 09/08/2007 show at Winnipeg Canada for $20. Includes 27 songs and has a live version of "I Got You".
No Split Enz songs last night though and they didn't play "4 Seasons In One Day".

Oh, bummer! They did "4 Seasons in One Day" as the audience sing-along in Milwaukee. It was gorgeous!

They played mostly their uplifting stuff last night. Guess they didn't want to get bummed. But I love that sad stuff.
