I went with Roger Waters. Most of my favorite Pink Floyd Albums/Songs were from the "Dark Side" days when Waters was running the show.

I really like Barrett era Floyd. Very wild and carefree and inventive.

Waters for me. My faves are Meddle, DSOTM, WYWH and Animals.

Definitely Syd. Afterwards, Pink Floyd became option 4 (IMHO)
...though I like Meddle alot too.

I suspect Gilmour is a real Rocky type: hits hard, can take a punch. But Waters is probably faster and has him on reach. Tough call. I doubt Barrett would be much of a threat.

Although some of Waters stuff has bored me to tears (Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking, most of The Final Cut), he was the creative genius of the band during their peak, both popular and (I think) creatively.

I went with Gilmore. I have often said that he is not my favorite guitar player (no points for guessing who is) but if I could play guitar I would play it like Gilmore.

From a solo perspective, I was always partial to Gilmour's stuff (although I loved Pros and Cons). Certainly he plays guitar like no one else.

I voted for Syd, whom without their wouldn't be a Floyd.
