When Tim Presley (The Nerve Agents) teamed up with drummer Andy Granelli (Nerve Agents, The Distillers) you kind of expected punk. But no. They got together and former the AWESOME Darker My Love. In Darker My Love, Presley delivered the coolest, loudest, thickest, most awesomest shoegaze record that DIDN'T ripoff My Bloody Valentine or Slowdive in a decade. Big, huge, reverb-drenched guitars, thick chords, and cool riffs mixed with great songs. Just awesome, awesome, awesome. This is how loud guitar should song.
