One of my favorite bands is back with a new album for the first time with the original lineup since 1983, and that's Asia. Their music brings back a ton of memories, and the live show I saw the other night was simply outstanding. I'm so happy they're back together even if Asia jokes were in "The 40 Year Old Virgin"!
The John Payne-era had some good music but many fans felt this was not really Asia, but feel free to choose songs from then if you want.
Anyway, I know this may not have massive participation, but away we "go" and see if anyone else cares! This is actually tough for me as I could easily include many more.

1. Heat Of The Monent
2. Sole Survivor
3. The Smile Has Left Your Eyes
4. Go
5. Days Like These

5 runners up:
Wildest Dreams
One Step Closer
Without You
Daylight
Rock And Roll DReam

This, of course, could change on Tuesday...

Heat of the Moment-this is still my audio equipment test song. I love the whole thing, but specifically I'll never tire of Carl Palmer's boom, boom-boom THWACK!

Only Time Will Tell
Sole Survivor
Wildest Dreams
The Smile Has Left Your Eyes

I still strongly favor the entire first album over pretty much everything that came later. One of the first albums I owned, as I recall ( on cassette), and it's all burned into my brain. I'm loathe to cut anything from the first album. CDs nowadays can store more than LPs anyway, so take all the first and add a bit to it - Don't Cry, The Smile Has Left Your Eyes, My Own Time, Go. Not sure I need much more than that, really.

Also, everyone who left "Time Again" off their shortlist is wrong. Just so you know. :) They got this right on Fantasia - Live in Tokyo, using this as the opener. Killer bass riff.

The two eras are too "oranges-and-apples" to me for me to come up with a single 5 song list of favorites so I've split 'em up, and taken "Heat of the Moment" out of the running as an obvious no-brainer favorite.

Wetton/Downes:

1. Only Time Will Tell
2. Don't Cry
3. Rock and Roll Dream
4. One Step Closer
5. Ride Easy

Downes/Payne:

1. Silent Nation
2. Heaven on Earth
2. Awake
4. Arena
5. Who Will Stop the Rain?

If I was to make a Top 5 of the Payne era, it would be:

1. Who Will Stop The Rain?
2. Ready To Go Home
3. Heaven
4. Darkness Day
5. Love Under Fire

Top 5 Asia songs:

"Katmandu" by Bob Seger
"Chinatown" by Thin Lizzy
"Back in the USSR" by The Beatles
"Turning Japanese" by The Vapors
"Aja" by Steely Dan

What's that? It's supposed to be songs BY Asia, not ABOUT? Errrm, never mind ...

Keep 'em comin' guys-this material would be rejected even by MAD TV!

I'm a newbie on the ICE side of things, so I was unaware of your unstated rules. I gather you wanted 5 songs. OK. I guess I'll formalize my list then for the heck of it, even if the count is already in. Mine are:

1. Only Time Will Tell
2. Heat of the Moment
3. Time Again
4. Sole Survivor
5. Wildest Dreams

And nine bonus tracks:

1. Without You
2. The Smile Has Left Your Eyes
3. One Step Closer
4. Here Comes the Feeling
5. Go
6. Cutting It Fine
7. Don't Cry
8. My Own Time
9. Rock And Roll Dream
