correction: The Ry Cooder album I mentioned earlier is not called "Tornado Alley", but rather, "Into the Purple Valley". I don't know how I managed to get it so wrong, but the album cover is still on topic:

someone I haven't listened to in years...have lots of his vinyl but only a few upgraded to CD's...kinda a later day Ray Davies - that is overlooked and generally forgotten -
