Keeping with the Irish theme, and with this being Easter weekend, since Van Morrison is quite the spiritual man, and he has a new album coming out Apr. 1 ("Keep It Simple"), this week shall be Van Morrison and what you consider your five favorites if you could pick just five.
Again, not an easy one, but mine would be:

1. Have I Told You Lately (this was our wedding song-truly a beautiful piece of music-I hated Rod Stewart's version, but at least it gave Van some coin).
2. Domino
3. Days Like This
4. Why Must I Always Explain
5. Whenever God Shines His Light

Hmmm.....not much love for Van so far-I'm a little surprised, but to each his own! I'll still keep a watch until Saturday on any votes to see what other songs people like from him.

Another great Irish group that does not ever get its' due is Horslips. I was just listening to "Aliens", their excellent 1977 release that drew a few comparisons to the music of Jethro Tull.
